Description

Woman in traditional Norman costume, wearing a white bonnet, sitting and working lace on a stool. Printed text at the bottom: « 58. - SCÈNES DE LA VIE NORMANDE — The Lace Maker — « Ah ! the good day ! » ». A 10-centime French postage stamp, canceled, is affixed at the bottom right. Reverse: handwritten correspondence dated November 30, 1903, addressed to Mr. C. Heritier in Cherby, with part of the correspondence reserved for the letter.
