Postcard showing a Senegalese shoemaker sitting in a hut made of palm leaves, with a sign 'SHOEMAKER' above the entrance. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated March 12, 1944, addressed to Madame Joulan in Port-D'Enville, Calvados, with the note 'Africa' in the top right corner.
