Black and white view of a ruined Gothic archway, surrounded by dense vegetation, with an inscription indicating that it is the ruins of the Henri IV castle and the chapel owned by Count Turquet de la Boissière. The reverse presents handwritten correspondence addressed to Miss Oly, 17 rue Frognier, Neuvy-sur-Barangeon, with partial cancellation and a 5 centimes stamp.
