Description

View of the Saint-Denis Gate of the cathedral in Sens, dating from the 14th century, with an ornate tympanum decorated with cherubs and bells, and populated voussoirs. The ornamentation remains intact despite the vandalism of the French Revolution, which spared the tympanum. Printed text at the bottom of the front.
