Description

View of the cathedral in Sens, a 13th-century monument, with its 47-meter façade and three portals. The statue of Saint Stephen at the central pillar, holding the book of the Gospels, was preserved in 1789 while the other statues were decapitated. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 13 February 1916, addressed to a recipient in Sens, mentions travel plans and campaigns.
