Exterior view of Sens station, inaugurated on September 9, 1849, with horse-drawn carriages and men in uniform in front of the building. The printed text mentions the inauguration by Louis-Napoléon, President of the Republic, and the Archbishop of Sens, Mgr Mellon-Joly. The reverse indicates that the postcard is from the J. D. collection, in Sens, and includes a note on international correspondence.
