Description

View of an ornate grille with heraldic emblems at the top, located in front of the former archbishop's palace in Sens, which separated the space of the choir and chapels from the cathedral. The printed text explains that it was built in 1762 by Cardinal de Luynes. Reverse: handwritten note dated 1st March 1935, addressed to 'Dear cousin and friend', with a mention of 'Sens, Tourneur' and a signature 'With all my tenderness'.
