Description

Postcard showing the ornate gate of the former Archbishop's Palace of Sens, located in the courtyard preceding the portal of the south transept. The printed text explains that this gate separates the former Archbishop's Palace from the cathedral and that the coats of arms at the top belong to Cardinal de Luynes, who had the gates built in 1762. The reverse is blank, with a mention of the J. D., Sens collection.
