Black and white view of a narrow passage in Siena, dominated by the Arco della Galluzza, a brick arch with several successive arches. The floor is paved with stones and a suspended lantern lights the scene. On the reverse, the handwritten date '4 April 1909' is visible, as well as the printed word 'DEPOSÉ' at the bottom left.
