Aerial view of Claye-Saint-Mard before the war, highlighting the cathedral and the rooftops of the town surrounded by greenery. The reverse bears a handwritten correspondence dated Wednesday, April 4, 1917, sent to a « dear little woman » by a « little husband » named Marcel, mentioning the health of his cousin Jean and his brother Pierre, as well as the presence of a stamp and a cancellation in Paris.
