Detailed view of the ruins of the Buerie Quarter in Soissons, showing a partially destroyed Gothic church with its collapsed bell tower and surrounding buildings reduced to rubble. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated July 23, 1934, addressed to a 'Miss' in Paris, mentioning health and conditions in the quarter. Postmark from Paris with cancellation.
