Satirical postcard depicting a soldier in uniform tending to a barrel, with humorous text at the top: 'The Biscotte is a rough drinker, Eating without drinking unsettles, Thus the ingenious cook Finds a remedy for the matter.' Reverse: recipient in Charenton, 5-centime blue stamp and partial cancellation from Dombasle (France) dated August 18, 1906.
