Description

Black and white view of the Puy de Dôme observatory, a cylindrical wooden building with a small stone entrance on the left. The back features a handwritten letter dated February 19, 1916, sent from Royat to a 'dear friend,' mentioning a departure for the upper Loire and a visit to Biarritz. The stamp and postmark are visible at the bottom right.
