Postcard showing the ruins of the Gallic temple of Mercury at the summit of Puy de Dôme, with printed text describing its cultic importance and its destruction in 264 BC by the Gerontes. Reverse: blue French Republic stamp, postmark from Cautal dated 27 August 1908, address to Monsieur Arnaud Boy in La Chassagne, Cautal, and a handwritten message in French.
