Black and white view of a path bordered by stone walls and dense vegetation, crossing a rocky canyon. Printed text at the bottom: 'SORTIE DES GRANDS-GOULETS' and 'Collection P. P., Valence'. Reverse: handwritten address to Mr. Miss M. Richard in Oran (Algeria), 10-centime postage stamp and two cancellations from Saint-Martin-en-Verc (Drôme) dated April 24, 1896.
