Description

Caricature postcard depicting a humorous skating scene with several men in period costumes falling or stumbling on the ice, while a woman skates elegantly. The printed text at the bottom says: 'Slide, mortals, don't press!'. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 31 December 1911, addressed to a recipient in Bordeaux, mentions a 'pastry shop' and a 'skating club'.
