The reverse features handwritten text addressed to Monsieur Leroyer at the Hôtel Moderne in Lille, France, and indicates that the postcard was printed in Saxony by Plâte Ltd. It is stamped with a 12-cent red fiscal stamp from Ceylon and postmarked.
