View of the descent of Pisse-Vache in St-Aignan-sur-Cher, under a large arched bridge covered in ivy, with a man and a woman in period clothing standing to the right. The back has a handwritten inscription 'Bon Souvenirs A. Beaufils' and the recipient's address 'Monsieur Eugène, Pâturier chez M. Herman, 86 rue Lafayette, Rouen'. A green 5-centime French Republic stamp, postmarked in Paris.
