Description

Black and white view of the ruins of the Tower of Cesson, built by Duke Jean in 1395 and destroyed by Henry IV in 1598. Printed text on the front indicates the construction and destruction dates. Reverse: handwritten address to Monsieur Andréieux in Rennes, 12-centime green stamp, cancellations from Saint-Brieuc and Rennes dated June 1st, 1906.
