Postcard showing a column topped with a crown, erected on a feudal mound at St-Florent-le-Vieil. The printed text states that it was erected in 1025 by Foulques-Nerra to protect the abbey and castle from attacks by Breton chieftains, and that the mound was topped with a wooden tower destroyed during the League. On the reverse, typical correspondence and address areas of a postcard are found, with a handwritten number '249'.
