Description

Black and white view of a sunset over the sea with several sailboats in silhouette on the horizon. The printed text at the bottom left indicates 'Cap' and 'PP 1554 — Sunset over the Sea'. On the reverse, a real photo postcard (REAL-PHOTO) of Saint-Georges-d'Oléron, with a postmark of September 2, 1954, and a 20-centime stamp. The handwritten text mentions a departure for the Bay of Biscay and an address to Madame J. Macé at Couteaux, Seine.
