View of the castle of St-Germain-en-Laye from the 16th century, taken from the parterre, with bilingual inscription indicating the seat of the Austrian delegation at the Peace Conference signed on 10 September 1919. Reverse: handwritten correspondence addressed to Monsieur Couillard in Le Havre, with address and text in French, green 15-centime stamp canceled 'PARIS' and postmark.
