Description

Panoramic view of Burg Katz castle overlooking the town of St. Goarshausen, perched on a rocky spur along the Rhine. The castle, with its towers and walls, dominates the village houses below. On the reverse, a cancellation from Lohbley dated 1st July 1921, an inscription 'Nachplattens' and a note '1917 Ludwigsstadt, Mainz 3198 gesch.'
