Description

View of the main street of St-Jean-de-la-Motte (Sarthe) with tiled-roof buildings and shutters, and a few people on the sidewalk. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated September 13, 1918, addressed to M. D. Cullot, mentioning military service and a desire to see him before leaving. The reverse also bears the inscription 'All foreign countries do not accept mail on lines' and a postmark 'CORRESPONDANCE'.
