Description

Black and white view of the beach at high tide in St-Jean-le-Thomas, in the Manche, with a rocky outcrop overlooking the coast. The reverse has a handwritten letter addressed to Monsieur Chastagnol at the Hôtel des Touristes in Crozant, with a signature and a note of gratitude. A green 20-centime stamp is affixed at the top right, canceled with a circular postmark from Crozant.
