Black and white view of the castle and walls of St Laurent-les-Tours, near Saint-Céré (Lot), with bare trees and rocky ground. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated August 29, 1916, addressed to a « little Lucienne », signed « S. Sadwaj », mentioning a boat trip and news of the war.
