View of the Lion Rock in St-Nazaire, a distinctive rock shaped like a lion at the edge of the sea, with a 10-centime French postage stamp and a cancellation stamp from Nantes dated 17 June 1912. Reverse: handwritten correspondence addressed to Gabriel Descartes in Côte de Rénelle, Sarthe, dated 12 August 1912, with handwriting mentioning Granville and the countryside.
