Black and white view of an ancient stone fountain, surrounded by arcades and old buildings. On the reverse, handwritten text dated May 28, 1940, sent from Nice to Rouen, mentioning a visit to the fountain in Venice. French 15-centime postage stamp, Nice postmark.
