Description

View of the Orangerie in Strasbourg with its restaurant on the edge of a lake, surrounded by forests and rocks. The reverse side features a handwritten letter dated 1918, addressed to 'Dear Brother and Sister', sent from the 'Cigogne', 37 Rue de la Concorde, Strasbourg, and mentions an 'inauguration' and a 'family dinner'.
