Postcard showing the former imperial palace of Strasbourg, a neoclassical building adorned with sculptures and columns. The printed text at the bottom reads 'STRASBOURG Former Imperial Palace'. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 19/10/19 addressed to 'Dear Mr. Mion', mentioning the Place de la République and the planned demolition of the palace. French 50-centime postmark cancelled 'STRASBOURG'.
