View of La Petite Venise in Strasbourg, with a canal lined with trees and buildings, a rowboat and a swan in the water. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated Friday, addressed to 'My dear Emilienne', signed 'A. Schable' and mentioning a trip to Dijon. Postmark and cancellation visible.
