View of the Place du Marché aux Cochons de Lait in Strasbourg, with the Hôtel-Restaurant Orkonberg in the foreground and the tower of the Saint-Étienne church in the background. The reverse bears a handwritten letter addressed to Madame Cressant in Paris, dated 1936, with a French postage stamp from 1936 and a postmark from Strasbourg station.
