Colored view of a stone mill by the river, with a small thatched-roof building to the left and surrounding trees. The reverse bears a handwritten correspondence dated 7 August 1917, sent from London to France, with a green 1 shilling postage stamp and a cancellation stamp dated 'OMPIEGN' 2 August 1917.
