View of the destroyed sugar refinery of Sermaize in 1914, with its large broken arched windows and debris of bricks and wood in the foreground. The back has handwritten text dated December 4, 1914, addressed to Edmond Jalabat in Saint-Étienne, with the inscription 'Bon Souvenir' and the signature of Brunnel. The publisher is E. Le Deley, printer in Paris.
