Night scene of a park in Montpellier, with an illuminated kiosk in the center, surrounded by seated spectators on the grass under a starry sky and a crescent moon. The reverse bears a handwritten address to Herne Bay, Kent, and a green 1d stamp with cancellation of 'CANARY ISLANDS' dated 11 October 1903.
