View of the Bel-Air chapel in Tarare, built in 1757 on the site of an older chapel, enlarged in 1822 and restored in 1879 by M. E. Thivel. The interior houses a painting by Courbet (Christ at the Column). The reverse side features handwritten correspondence and an address, with a red 10-centime postage stamp canceled in Tarare.
