Description

View of the castle known as the Castle of King René in Tarascon, on the Rhône side, with an inscription indicating that its construction began on November 27, 1500, during the reign of Louis II, Count of Provence, father of King René. The reverse has a handwritten address to Mademoiselle Bourrier Marguerite in Molompise, Cantal, with a 5-centime postage stamp and a Tarascon cancellation of October 23, 1930.
