Description

View of King René's castle in Tarascon, with an inscription indicating that its construction began on November 27, 1400, during the reign of Louis II, Count of Provence, father of King René. On the reverse, a postcard addressed to Mademoiselle Marthe Jay in Lyon, with affectionate handwritten text and a 5-centime green stamp canceled in Saint-Étienne-sur-Durhone on September 13, 1909.
