View of King René's Castle in Tarascon, Rhône side, with inscription indicating that its construction began on November 27, 1400, during the reign of Louis II, Count of Provence, father of King René. Reverse: handwritten correspondence addressed to Mrs. Henriette Paccarman in Marseille, dated November 16, 1906, with a stamp and cancellation mark from Marseille.
