View of King René's castle in Tarascon, whose construction began on November 27, 1400 during the reign of Louis II, Count of Provence, father of King René. On the reverse, handwritten message from Henry Allard to Mlle Lucie Villet in Carpentras (Vaucluse), with the inscription 'Amities'.
