Description

View of the Gate of La Condamine in Tarascon, built shortly after the siege of Tarascon by Bertrand du Guesclin (1368). The text recalls the entry of King Francis I in 1516 and the decoration of the streets up to the Sainte-Marthe Church. Reverse: handwritten address to Madame Eug. Caillie in Saint-Malo, postmark and postmark of Saint-Malo from December 28, 1903.
