View of the Gate of Condamine in Tarascon, built shortly after the Battle of Marignan. The text indicates that King Francis I entered here in February 1516, and that the streets up to Sainte-Marthe Church were paved. The reverse side bears the publisher 'Imp.-Phot. A. Thirion, C.P. Toulouse'.
