Description

View of the Porte Jarnègue in Tarascon, built in 1646 by the Consuls of the City to replace a smaller gate, adorned with a shield bearing the arms of the King and featuring an inscription recalling the Arms of the Bergère. Reverse: handwritten correspondence dated 29.7.16 sent from Tarascon to Serignan (Hérault), with a postmark and Tarascon post office cancellation.
