View of a historic timber-framed building identified as 'The Old Cavalier's House in Fore Street, Exeter'. The reverse indicates that this is the presumed location of the postmark of Charles I, published by Worth's Art Gallery. Postmark of 1½d. cancelled in Glasgow, dated 7 May 1938.
