Description

Circular illustration depicting the Nativity with Mary and Joseph around the cradle of the Infant Jesus, within an architectural framed archway under a starry sky. Text printed in English on the reverse indicates the work as a copper enamel from the middle of the 16th century, from the Victoria and Albert Museum, with a mention of the publisher and serial number Wt. 36329. The reverse also features an unreadable handwritten correspondence.
