Colored postcard showing the Town Hall in Portsmouth, with a paved street, cars, and pedestrians. Printed text at the bottom: 'THE TOWN HALL. PORTSMOUTH.' and handwritten signature 'Lucy Older' with date 'July 1903'. Reverse: address to 'Mademoiselle Jane Clagenson' in Paris, 1d 1/2 (1½d) stamp and postmark from Portsmouth, 13 July 1903, with a transit postmark from Tours.
