Description

View of the portal of Saint-Médard Church in Thouars, the lower part (12th and 13th centuries) depicting the Branches, the Ascension and the Triumph of Christ. The façade, sculpted in the 16th century, was built by Gabrielle de Bourbon, wife of Louis de la Trémouille. The reverse indicates the publisher R. Bergewin, 66, Rue des Merciers, La Rochelle.
