Description

Panoramic view of the village of Thouars from the south, showing rooftops and buildings perched on a hill above a river with a dam. Printed text at the bottom: 'Dando-Berry, Tournus - 642'. Reverse: handwritten address to 'Madame... in Thouars', 5-centime green stamp, two circular cancellations of 'TOURS' and 'SAUMUR', and note 'correspondence on the front is not accepted by all foreign countries'.
