Night view of Toulon with the Savings Bank at Bouguenais illuminated under the moon. Palms frame the scene and pedestrians walk along the street. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated 28/1/1942, addressed to M. Louis Tranc, 34 rue St. Magoguette, Marseille, with a French postage stamp and a Toulon cancellation.
