View of a stone tower on a rocky promontory, surrounded by conifers, with the inscription 'L'an 800 surm' at the top right. Reverse: handwritten address in Paris, Swiss 10-centime stamp, postal mark of Châtelard (Vaud) from August 6, 1906, and printed text 'CORRESPONDANCE for countries only where this is permitted'.
